Yesterday, I was looking out my office window and saw an almost perfect rainbow. By the time I got up to the roof deck to take the picture - this was all that was left. This is just with my point-and-shoot. Ironically, this was the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and all the protesters were walking back to the metro after a long day of yelling at the Supreme Court. I'm sure there were colorful interpretations on both side of that argument. (pun intended)

I liked this picture because I took it by getting really close to the dog. I also think it conveys a warm, cozy feel making me wish I slept this well.

As it has been pointed out to me by "friends" that I haven't actually kept up with one picture a day, I have resigned myself to 365 pictures for the year rather than per day. This is why I titled this Picture 8 rather than Day 8. However, the day I took the picture, I put away my Christmas decorations which created the subject matter.

Day 7

Kevin, Beth and I went to the roof of the DOL and took some shots.

Day 6

A received a thank you card from Marcus for his Christmas Presents. I also received a package from Brian containing some very helpful media (vague enough?).The image is underexposed to my liking, but I dimmed the lights above so as to not get the reflection off the plastic address windows on the envelopes.

Day 5

I tried to put up another set of blinds on the dining room window, but realized I bought the wrong track. So, I have to go back to Ikea...what a shame. In the meantime, I took some pics of the first set I put up for this day's picture. I think this shows how the binds work on a three track system.

Day 4

Ah, the Wonder Wheeler. A cliff dweller's best friend!

Day 3

I did laundry on Friday. Not very interesting, but the water filling the washer came out nicely and unexpectedly interesting using the flash.

Day 2

Uneventful day. Made grilled cheese for dinner which was the highlight since I rarely do this. Pathetic, I know.

Day 1

Helped Steph complete her fire room floor, paint and wainscoting finally after 4 days. It turned out great and was lots of fun!
