Cold Frame II

I made this cold frame. It is a raised bed with 6 mil plastic as a canopy.

Cold Frames

Steph made this top-notch cold frame box out of some scrap wood she had. It is still a little chilly here, but we should be able to start some seeds in it soon.

Mushrooms

My first mushroom crop. Wow, do they grow fast! You'll notice that the date on the box indicates that they were started on 3/15/08. I made my first harvest last night on 4/2/08.

Gardening weeknend

This was the first weekend we did a lot of gardening--Trixie included! She learned to bury her toys. You will notice her "sandbox" in the background. (her muzzle is supposed to be white) I was just disappointed that the picture wasn't quite in focus.
