Patio project

Here are some pictures of our patio project which is progressing slowly. I'll post more when we are finished. Working a full time job is really getting in the way of completion.

Trixie at daycare

Here is two photos of Trixie at daycare. The daycare people are using it on their website. I'm not sure if this is an argument for or against daycare. Since so many people enjoyed the "Trixie- got-in-a-fight-at-daycare story," I thought you'd enjoy this. Looks like another fight may be starting over the bone she is trying to "share".

Baby birds

Here are some pictures of the 5 baby birds that were in residence in our air conditioner until yesterday. It has been really warm here and we were unable to turn it on until they left. The middle picture is awful, but I wanted to show you that there were indeed 5 birds since the other pictures, while better, only show 3.

They were still in the nest Tuesday morning when I left for work. Unfortunately, Steff found one dead in the driveway in the afternoon and the others were nowhere to be found. I like to think they learned to fly and the stray cat hanging around the house had nothing to do with the disappearance.
