New Countertops

After redoing the kitchen, Steff decided to get new countertops. We went to Ikea for the countertops and then installed them ourselves.

We also painted all the cedar wood panelling that remained in the living room and hallway. We put up a chair rail and repainted the drywall.

Making Progress

Here are the pictures from the project showing some progress. After tearing out the wall, we found that the underlying studs and other boards were old, crooked and randomly placed. So, Steff had to redo the drywall in a few places to cover up the chaos. She then added the new boards to create the shelves.
